Fuel Return Line in the Tank
The end of my fuel return line inside the tank has this orange rubber fitting on the end of it. I'm inclined to pull it off so there's less resistance to the return flow. Did anyone else do this or do you think I should leave it on? Thanks!20190323_121840_HDR.jpg

The FFR assembly manual recommends removing it from the provided fuel pick-up. When I upgraded to an in-tank pump, the setup came with the same piece installed and I left it on. I think it primarily serves as an anti-siphon valve, but that's just an assumption.

It serves two purposes if my research is correct. When in a low fuel quantity situation it stops fuel from siphoning back through the feed line and acts as a spray nozzle to spray fuel onto the pump for cooling.

Thanks guys, I think I will leave it on.
