What can be deleted, for example can I block off the back of the crossover pipe and the return at the bottom of the engine. Heater hose. I already plan on getting rid of the Throttle body and oil cooler (of block cooler).

No one, I know this is a long response . If there is somewhere should look please point me there.
Thanks Ed
Posting what engine you are working with, in the same thread helps. I did not list my car nor engine, when I started asking questions and was advised it helps.

This is mentioned in the build manual, but you cannot block off the lines on the back of the engine that normally go to the heater core. You must loop the upper and lower line together so coolant cycles through those passages. If blocked off the engine will overheat.

Thanks for the advice, duh, I have a 2006 STI 2.5l. That strangely I can not locate the secondary air fittings on the head. I just do not seem to have them.
Thanks, your post is great! One more reason to get a monitor in the garage.
