    July 2020 POM WINNER!

    July 2020 POM Winner!
    Model
    Roadster
    FFR Number
    9506
    Description of Setting
I stopped at Estes Lake at about 10 AM on my drive through the Rocky Mountains to take these pictures. A Snow storm was coming that night so the clouds were perfect! I took my good camera on the trip, but these were done with my iPhone 11, as I was not wanting to hang around too long. I knew I had two high passes to traverse before the storm came in.

Thank you David and to all on the forums. This has been quite a ride! I have enjoyed every minute of it and can't say enough good things about this forum and the people that contribute to it! You all are fantastic to each other and exceptionally helpful in the planning and building stages.

    GTBradley,

Congratulations on POM. I love that picture! The car is gorgeous and the composition of the photo is top notch! It's mind boggling that such a great picture came out of your telephone.

    Thanks, Garry.

Right? phones today are amazing! I was headed on to RMNP to get photos, but on a whim I stopped at the lake just before it to look around. On my walk back to the car I thought, hmm, that might make a good photo...

Congrats GTBradley! Outstanding, brilliant and fitting as well. If Colorado ever gets a state vehicle, this surely would be it! And that blue hue is giving that sky a run for it's beauty.

Thanks, DJ. Ha! That would be nice, but I don't think anybody is ever going to knock the Subaru from that position!

Thanks, Rick. Yeah, I really should give some credit to the setting, mountains and blue sky can’t be beat.

High praise indeed Jetfuel, thank you!
BTW, that looks like a Lear in your photo. I used to burn JetA myself in a Citation Bravo.

Thanks. I'm always happy to hear when someone benefited from the build thread. I found it to be the hardest part, as I never wanted to take time away from the build to do it. I liked doing the build thread, but I spent 800 hours on the build in 5 months, so there wasn’t much time for it.
