Love the sound - a great looking engine.

Quick question - what kind of pulley kit did you use? I like the look (for as good a look as I happened to get from it).

Thanks everyone, pretty excited. Got a fuel hose to replace and my oil sending unit failed. Despite that and some growing/learning pains with the sniper im really happy with the result.

Ended up replacing the oil temp gauge with a fuel pressure gauge so thats on its way with the sending unit for oil.

Congrats! I've watched the vid multiple times, since that's such a beautiful sound to hear. You've reached a major milestone and I'm sure it's got to be even more fun knowing you're not far from the finish now! Enjoy these final steps of your build journey...

The fuel pressure gauge isn't a dash mounted gauge, as far as I'm aware, so what are you going to use to fill the hole in the dash?
Also, I've never had one, so can't speak first hand, but I have read of more than one case of fuel pressure gauges under the hood, eventually leaking, and posing a fire hazard. so you might want to do some research on that issue..

I called speedhut and they are building a fuel pressure gauge that matches the factory five vintage gauges with a fuel pressure sending unit that plugs into the regulator.

Interesting. I bet they may become quite popular. As long as there is no raw fuel at the dash, like some oil pressure gauges do.

    AC Bill,
I have a Speedhut fuel pressure gauge on my Coyote. It is fully electronic, with a small transducer screwed into the gauge port on the regulator. Super accurate and so far problem free.

    Cheers, Nigel

    Nick,

Sounds and looks great! If you don't mind: what about the flanges and "adaptor" looking thing between the the headers and side pipes? Is that standard setup? Good luck on the first go cart run.
