    Handbrake interference

I have a interference problem between the coil spring and hand brake lever. Any suggestions to avoid this?

I have rotated the spring so it works now, but I assume the spring will rotate in use. Turning the shock upside down will not help. Bending the actuating arm will help, but I am reluctant to do that.

    Suggestions?

yeah... rotating the spring will not fix that for good. - can you take picture or 2 from a little further back and give us a little more about the components you are using.... GEN 3 COupe?? looks like IRS... GEN 3... who's brakes... that doesn't look familiar to me

Can't tell from the angle of your photos , but is there a reason for that extra arm on the inside where the bolt holds the cable clip on top. ( first photo) If you can eliminate that it would move the bolt head towards the outside and give you the clearance. But that is just a guess from the photos above.

Good idea, did not think of that. The arm is designed for another type of cable end, a cylinder perpendicular to the wire.

looks like you have a different caliper set up from what I have. Mine are the 13 inch Wilwood. I know the calipers are different for the IRS than the standard axle.
the attached picture is not the greatest but you can see there are 2 callipers and they fit easily.

other than this not sure how you fix it.

Problem solved: adjusted the camber from extreme negative to almost 0.

Gentlemen, thank you for your input.
