Couple of bugs I worked out of my 35 P/U.

I just started to put some miles on my 35 and ran into 2 things that were not right. In city stop and go driving with the A/C on my truck was running 220-225 degrees. I have a 190 T-Stat in it. Also once the truck got real warm the brakes would stay on lightly. Causing further over temp and lots of brake dust.
All this was happening in 90 degree outside temps in the sun with road temps around 130-140.
I added an 1/8" pedal free play to my Power Brake booster and installed the 2 aluminum plates that go below the radiator to block air at the bottom of the grill. Unlike the old 33 radiator this one is much shorter in height. Once i did these two things now it runs 190-195 and no more brake dragging. I thought I would pass this on. It may save someone from having the same thing happen.

Thanks Tom, I was looking at the lower radiator shield and saying to myself do I really need that thing? I guess I do. Thanks for the heads up.

My lower shield needed a lot of trimming to fit. But, got it in.
