    700r4 transmission speedometer plug

What size plug do I need to replace the speedometer cable drive on a 700r4 transmission? It was suggested I use a freeze plug.

    Thanks,
    Cliff

I tried several sizes, either too big or too small. I forget what the caliper measurement was but I could not find one that matched the measurement. I ended up buying a "4L60E 4L60 700R4 Transmission VSS VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR".

I found a rubber expansion plug on eBay. (Dorman Expansion Plug 02607) It makes a good fit.
