Installing Enamel Cobra Emblems for Hood and Trunk

I picked up a set of the classic Cobra emblems for the hood & trunk. They have small pins on them, but I'm thinking it might be best to get rid of the pins and use 3M trim adhesive to install them. Any thoughts on this from those that have installed them?

    Thanks,
    Dave

For sure cut off the pins. I've always mounted mine with 3M 03609 Scotch-Mount 1/2" x 5' Molding Tape. Widely available and works great. Also available in other widths and lengths.

Dremel the pins off and use the double-sided 3M tape.

I'd tell you where I got mine, but don't want to risk the wrath of Dave H. for promoting a non-supporting vendor's products.

PM me and I'll let you know where to look.

If you use two screws, the emblem won't spin, unless you prefer the spinning effect.

I like the helicopter effect, plus it makes a sound like a spaceship.

Got to be real careful to get that screw right in the center or it will vibrate like hell.

3m moulding adheadive here but I used several layers because the car is curved and the emblems are flat. Worked great and very solid just expensive.
