Truck cab on

I got my truck running today and pulled it out of the garage and dropped the cab on it. Still a few bugs to work out but it all part of the process of building. Rob

Looks great Rob. I see you have most of your bodywork done. Some of the other guys have said they found quite a few air pockets in the gel coat Did you experience that as well?

Thanks, yea found a few pockets in the seams nothing crazy. I ground down the seams and filled them with duraglass then featherlite filler. The cab has the bulk of work on it with the seams. I have it blocked down to 80 still need to give it a lite coat of glaze to hit any pinholes. I did the cab one weekend off the truck when my buddy mechanic / wire guy was out of town and I couldn’t sit still. I’m going to pull the cab back off to prime and paint and flock the inside. While it’s off I am going to paint the roll bar to match the exterior cause I removed the cross bar out to get every inch of seat room I can and going with three point seat belts which I’m integrating into the roll bar. That’s why the rear of the roll bar is in primer.

Hey Rob. Saw you looking for options for wipers. Any luck? If you find anything please let me know. Ive been looking but so far below is what Ive found. Not sure of the fit though till I can take some measurements and see what clearance there is under the dash.

Hey Rob. I saw pics of your doors on and aligned. (cant find post) Did you have any issues with getting the bottom rear door in to match up the body? Yours looked to be perfectly aligned. I'm having a hell of a time trying to align. When I get the front aligned, the door seems to be twisted. The top rear is in and bottom rear is 1/2" out from body. Any suggestions?
