    Fiberglass hood scoop

I have a Mk 3.1 and as we all know the scoop is crooked. I would also like to have the bolted on look. Anyone have the old fiberglass scoop you want to part with?

    Thanks,
    Mick

If you're going to bolt it on anyway there is no point in using the 'glass scoop rather than the ABS one. Either way you will have to build the hole in after you cut the molded one off. The fiberglass one will require more work---you'll have to finish the raw underside, cut down the oversized flange and in addition to that you'll find it is not symmetrical (the radius of the back curve is different right to left). The only reason to use a fiberglass scoop is if you are bonding and molding it in.
