    Wall hanger side pipe

Had an extra set of pipes sitting in my basement so I decided to make a shelf for my 1/18 scale cars. Pretty pleased how it turned out!

    Scott-

Nicely done! That's a pretty creative use for the extra side pipe. I think it turned out great, and it is a perfect style for displaying your cars!

    I admire the creativity!

    Regards,

    Steve

Yeah, well that's worthy of an award in itself..

I have a couple of little die-cast Cobra's sitting on the top shelf of the dinning room china cabinet, but that's about as much as I have been able to get way with. The larger die-cast, and models I built, that I had put on display, were soon relegated to the spare bedroom. My man cave was built before the FFR, with hunting & fishing in mind. I may just have to move a few antlers, and vintage fishing reels, and build a display for them in there.

That is an awesome idea! "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!" I have a single driver side exhaust that I was wondering what to do with it.
And a piece of oak that is just the right size! Thanks for the idea!

Oh cool! I have something similar except it is a PVC soil pipe instead of a stainless side pipe.

    Nice Scott!

A while back my buddy Aaron was over on a Saturday while I was working in the shop and asked if I had any plans for a leftover sidepipe and bunch of quickjacks that I had laying around. When I said no he got busy cutting and welding and the next thing I knew he had created a coat rack that now hangs inside the shop door:
