    Daytona windshield install

For those of you that have done this I have a few questions.

I bought the same adhesive and trim as Matt (MTWAROG)

    1. I have some 6/32 button head fasteners around the opening to hold the body in place. Do I need to cover them with something soft or will the adhesive cover them adequately? Don't want friction on the button heads to crack the window.

    2. I put door trim around the window opening to create a better finished look for the head liner. I think Matt put foam around the perimeter to contain the adhesive which I like. I figure I can put the foam on the trim which then leaves a nice channel for the adhesive.
What foam is compatible with the 3M windshield adhesive? Don't want to put it on and then have the adhesive eat it up.

    Thanks!

    John

I used counter sunk screws instead. But you look like you will be OK.
