The US Army was the first United States military branch and actually is older than our nation. It was established on this day in 1775. The best job I ever had was when I served in the US Army.

I pulled Instructor Duty at Ft. Belvoir for the Army Corps Of Engineers in the 80s. That was fun.

I went through Air Assault school at Ft. Belvoir. The 101st had a traveling cadre that conducted the course that I attended. I think that was physically the toughest ten days of my Army career.

I feel bad not knowing this fact.

Thanks for educating me because we all know that ignorance can be correct by learning; however, Stupid Is Forever!
