This Factory Five 818S roadster features a turbocharged 2.0-liter flat-four and five-speed manual transmission from a 2005 Subaru WRX. The chassis includes WRX STI suspension components such as aluminum front control arms and Brembo brakes. The interior features WRX STI gauges and dashboard components, Polk Audio speakers, and a Valor head unit with backup camera. The donor powertrain reportedly had 80k miles when the vehicle was first assembled, and 4,000 miles have been added under current ownership. This 818S is now offered with parts receipts, images documenting the build, a certificate of origin listing it as a 2013 model. The car was built more as a summer street driver than for track purposes. For more detailed configuration contact seller at [email protected].
I purchased this car on BaT on the spur of the moment not knowing what to expect (also was my first time). Once I received it I find that this is not really the car for me. Firstly I live up in the north GA mountains and I have a right shoulder rotator cuff tear which makes the gear shifting very difficult and painfull. The car performs fine and has all the right options according to people who know these cars, except for a fuel leak that happens when it is filled over the 3/4 level (which I am having somebody who builds 818's look into and fix it next week. All reasonable offers are welcome. Ram
