818 OEM Interior with AIM MXS
Thanks to the early builders who posted their OEM Dash efforts, I decided to try to configure my 2002 Donor dash to fit. I basically destroyed it in the process. But, I did see the benefit of having an OEM looking interior vs the FFR interior. With further cutting and pasting of the 2002 dash and retooling the doors to accommodate the 4" wider OEM Dash, I got a 2006 Dash and all the center pieces from Wayne. This time, with the templates from the 2002 rebuilt, it fit. I just finished hanging and shaping the door panels for the 5th time and got them to close. It can be done.

Well that's awesome. I like the aluminum shifter fit in the console

Yes, I love Technology
Looks great. The dash gets looked at constantly - having it look good is worth all the effort.

do you have any type of walk through of the dash fitting process?

That came out nice! I’ve never been a fan of Subaru interiors, but I’m far less happy with the ffr quick cover and knee splitter attachments. I’m not there yet, and may literally just throw FFR’s dash in to get legal to drive, but something more custom is in my planning. A nice dash covering would go a long way, but the ffr dash shape could use a little embellishment. I’m looking at it like a blank canvas for now. Something to build on.
