    Firewall installation

I'm getting ready to final mount the firewall and foot boxes. Do we use the marine adhesive on these. Wasn't sure with the heat generated in the engine bay.
    Thanks

Do you really want to mount the firewall permanently? If so, consider 3M Panel Bond.

Myself, anything that's not welded I want removable. I used 10-32 button head screws to mount my firewall, floor boards, and all the rest of the tin work.

And I'm guessing you had no panel rattles

Thank you for your time and info.

If I was worried about rattling I'd use thin self adhesive weather strip like available from McMaster-Carr https://www.mcmaster.com/93375K607 or a bead of silicone.

I ended up using a little bit of silicone. After securing it wit the 10-32 button head screws and rivets. It came out nice and solid.
