    T-56 Super Magnum 6-Speed in '35 HRT

Did a forum search but nothing turned up. My apologies if this has been addressed before.

Looking to save a few $$ by going with an LS3/T-56 engine and transmission package. I don't see the T-56 listed as an option on the FFR build sheet for the '35 Hot Rod Truck. Anybody successfully used the T-56 Super Magnum 6-Speed in the HRT? If so, what modifications are required?

    Thanks.

I am doing LS3 and T56 right now with mine. Had first start last week, check my build thread for some details on oil pan replacement.

The LS option from FFR provided the correct mounts and Hooker exhaust manifolds. Everything fit. Only thing I had to modify was get the driveshaft shortened.

Geez, not sure how I missed this. Was aware of your build thread but somehow missed the T56 detail. Your build looks very nicely done and is spec'd similarly to what I intend to do. Thank you!

Yep, as Damn Yankee stated driveshaft is the only change, We put one in the Red Barrett Jackson pickup with no issues... Its tight under the tranny tunnel , but it fits.
