    Rear brakes

Hi all, i have the stock drum brakes on the rear and would like to convert to disc. With one of Summits economy kits, they said it would not fit with my wheels, he didnt know what wheels i have.
My question is has anybody used there kits to do this?
    Thanks

I'm running a Ford Explorer rear disk set up that has the parking brake inside of the top hat rotor.
My rear is Moser Dana 44 style, but they seem to use this set up for other axles too.
I got the kit from Moser and they fit fine under my 17" wheels.
Could this be a possible option?

I've been thinking of doing the same thing. Anyone know if these would work with 15" wheels?

My kit came with everything, but I had to pull the axles to mount them.
Also, the rears are SOLID like the Mustang rotors, but a good bit larger.
Give a call to Moser and see what they say.

    Thanks Seagull81.

We have all the parts and they were made for the FFR parts. Love Summit but they are not in the 8.8 swap game. Explorer stuff will not fit on a mustang 8.8.

I was going to say make it easy on yourself and contact Richard Oben at North Racecars however Seagull beat me to it and Richard already chimed in. But just make it easy on yourself and call Richard...
