We have lost Todd Buttrick
I just learned through the other forum that one of the original fixtures of our community has passed.

He loved to drive his FFR Cobra and talk cars. A giant loss to the Cobra community. He will be missed (over 6500 posts here).
God bless Todd......
Although we only had the opportunity to meet briefly at one of the Open Houses we've talked via forum posts and private messages for nearly two decades. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Terrible news! Todd was one of the best guys, and I remember when his wife Jillian passed away maybe 15 years ago. We named the Challenge Series East Coast Cup in her honor.
Just having returned from the London Cobra Show, and seeing so many old friends that go way back, it is hard to realize how fleeting all of this is. Todd will be missed.
Thoughts and prayers to his children.

Indeed. He rolled past 100K about 4 years ago.

Crap! I've never met him but known him through the various forums for many years now. Great guy, beautiful car. He was always happy to share his experience with what worked and what didn't and he had plenty to draw from.
My thoughts are with the family that remains.

A very sad day. Todd’s roadster was one the first that I saw and really loved what he did with it. Also know he would connect up with Ron from Metal Morpheous for shows. All around great guy and I’m sorry to his family and friends for their loss.

So sad, a great guy. I first met Todd a Ron Randall's "Metal-Morphous". A wealth of knowledge about Factory Five and always willing to share. He had a really tough time after he lost his wife but after awhile he bounced back. We lost a really good man. RIP Todd!

Im still at a loss of words.
I will say that I was honored to not only be part of Todd's cobra build but that I built a friendship with him.
He was extremely instrumental in developing the cobra painting end of my business and his advise with family and friends was worth its weight in gold.
I have many photos of Todd and Gags as they would stop in to see the progress of their cobras but my favorite is the attached photo. I took this in his driveway just as we got back from the open house.
I will remember himTodd 2.jpg in this way as it was how he lived,,,enjoying life
