    Gen 2 with SBC & 700 R4 exhaust problems

Has anyone with a Gen 2 and SBC and 700 R4 trans mounted the exhaust from FFR? Did you have any problems?
Here is my problem. 100_2275.JPG Any suggestions?

I have the same set up. I had to move the engine back to clear the front pulley so I went with the Summit SNH-CC11-P headers. https://www.summitracing.com/search?...ord=snh-cc11-p
The exhaust didn't align great throughout so I ended up taking mine to a performance exhaust shop to have it custom installed.

We had a problem with mis-made pipes for the sbf configuration a few years ago. The pipes were made backwards and ffr had to replace them. You may have similar problem so call Tony and the boys to check..

I had a reply from FFR that they are looking into the problem. Seams I'm not the only one. They said they would make something for me to get it to work and send them to me. That was a week ago but that's OK. If what they send me works it's worth the wait. I want to Go-Kart it but not with open headers.

My headers came with collectors with removable flanges. I used those extra gaskets and longer bolts to lower the down tubes enough for clearance. 20190910_194543.jpg

That is exactly the solution I'm looking at as well. I need to still check the fit, but I think that will do it and provide enough space. Gaskets or welding the spacers with a small gap may help...
