    Dash Mounting

SO what is the consensus, mount dash over fiberglass lip or under ? Dan at FFR says its customers choice. Tried mounting under fiberglass and it will not go in far enough ?

It will go in far enough I have no doubt. I am well into the dash phase of my build at the moment so I can speak to this well. Check out my build thread in the signature of my post.

i used it seems to be fine ,but keep in mind if you use it removing dash in future would require taking front body screws out

Mounted mine under as well. With the bulb seal. Plenty of room and fits fine. Also pleasantly surprised it doesn't leak air from the engine compartment. All good. I considered mounting mine over because agreed once it's under and the body installed, will be difficult if not impossible to remove without moving the body. Not something I want to do. Especially now that the windshield is installed. Among other things. But the way I did the rest of my dash and center console, I can move/remove all of that without removing the top dash piece. So access is possible should the need arise. Which I hope it doesn't.

this is exactly the reason why I mounted mine above but I have to account for the "Erik Factor" which dictates that if think I think I won't need to come off or need access to - I will need to do it at least 5 times
