Lightbulb My new front brake light !

So here is the issue. When my headlights are on and I step on my brake not only do the rear brake lights come on , but the front amber lights also come on ? This only happened when my headlight are on and not when they are off.

Any advise would be great !
    Thanks Herb

I'm going to ask how you're turn signals are wired, because if you're saying the "t/s filament side" of the front amber light is coming on, it's feeding from the brake / t/s side.

I am away on vacation. But I can tell you that in the wiring harness instructions it tells you to cut the wires to the front turn signals at the connection that would normally be used for the roadster. Since the hot rod and pickup use the Ididit column these wires should not be connected.

If this doesn’t make sense I can send more clarity when I get home
    On Friday 7/5.

When all else fails read the book !. tells you right in the manual to cut the yellow and white wire to avoid this , So all is well. Herb

Herb, we all have the same problems. I read the manual, but didn’t think it applied to the Idit steering column wiring used in the pickup. Studied the wiring manual for hours trying to make sense of it. Finally cut the wires in an abundance of caution. Haven’t tried lights yet, but evidently necessary.
