National Street Rod Association show in Albuquerque last weekend
Lots of really nice street rods at the show this last weekend.
The second car I saw as I entered was this Factory Five '33. I saw a few people sitting near it on the grass and asked if it was theirs.
The gentleman said it was his, he's from Aurora CO. He told me that it was built for some event in Chicago a few years ago, he bought it sometime after the event was over.
He paid $100K (ouch) for it.

As I turn to leave he sees the back of my FF shirt and says....Hey that's my car, where did you get that shirt.
Sure enough, the shirt I bought at FF last Oct has his car on the back.

This car was built for and belonged to one of the Perewitz of Hamsters Motorcycle Group fame. I think Dave Perewitz but not sure of the first name. Its been around for years.

Wow, interesting. I've been to Dave's shop 3 or 4 times when I lived in MA. It's located in Halifax, MA.

Yep, if you Google "Dave Perewitz hot rod" it shows it in his shop.

WOW that's one of the first cars that got built. Good to see it still out and about. I went to visit FFR back in '09 before I bought my kit. They said "hey, there's one being built over at Perewitz's shop". So they made arrangements for me to take a ride over to check it out.
