    Broken Spring

Here is something unusual. I started doing a final alignment on my Mk 3.1 and found a broken #500 lb front spring. Car had never been driven on the road. Only shuffled around the garage and in and out of the trailer for paint. Contacted FFR and sent them pictures. They jumped right on it and I had two new front springs within 2-3 days. Anyone seen this before ?20190525_155228.jpg20190525_160554.jpg

I’ve only heard of broken leaf springs, in all my life I’ve never heard of a broken coil spring.
