Lost adjustable clutch cable right at clutch fork. Strange location, cable has straight shot but anyway......made it to a shady sidestreet and made the call. AAA was great, a few planks under the bed deck and we were home in under an hour. Calling Forte tomorrow to order a replacement. Is this a common failure?

It happens, not sure how common it is but I believe we have all heard about them. Normal part of checking any time I have the car raised. Top end failure is more common IIRC. Forte supplied cable is part of my on board spares.
