Does anyone know what the two hole vertical bracket pictured in the foreground is used for? I'm thinking its for a parking brake application, but just guessing. Nothing about it I could find in the Roadster Complete Manual.
Thanks

That bracket is used for the emergency brake cables for those using Mustangs as a source of parts. I actually bought a 1995 brake lever and different brake cables to use in my build as I didn’t like the brake cables running under the frame bar. It has worked fine so far.

Thanks brewha. Yeah, i'm not crazy about the way the manual shows the cable routing either. Plan on doing a similar alteration that others have done going over the tube instead of under.

I did the same over the tube edwardb has a great thread on it
That bracket can still play a roll with the cables, even if they are run over the 4" tube, so don't cut it off.
Right on Bill, I was thinking I could still possibly use it.
