Noise inside cab driving

Okay stupid question, is anyone doing Dynamat, inside cabin ceiling, or similar and then covering the mat with carpet or other upholstery, inside cabin ceiling, ? Our are most just flocking it and saying good enough? Never rode in one yet.

You will never get OEM quiet in one of these. I did Lizard Skin sound deadener inside then flock. Used Eastwood x-mat on floors, ETC. I added extra seals on doors and door openings. I do not have wind noise but can hear engine and road noise from tires on my 35. You can check out my build thread. If you get a chance go for a ride in one and see for yourself.
