Join Us in Oshkosh for the 2019 EAA AirVenture Show

The Factory Five team is heading to Wisconsin for the 2019 EAA AirVenture Show in Oshkosh. Join us at we spend the week of July 22-28 at AirVenture, and check out our fleet of demo cars! Customers are welcome to join us at this fun event.

We will be displaying the new 2nd Gen Hot Rod with Deluxe nose/grill as well as our full-fendered Hot Rod Truck, Mk4 and Hot Rod rolling chassis, and several customer cars including a couple of Type 65 Coupes. Factory Five customers Sten Johnson and Erik Treves will be joining the team from FFR that includes Jesper, Jim, Chris, and intern Collin.

Ford is a sponsor of EAA’s AirVentures and our booth will be located a short walk from their display. All of our cars present will be Ford-powered, and we will not have an 818 or GTM in our display.

Customer Erik Treves will be bringing his Type 65 Coupe to next week’s EAA AirVenture show.

You can view show maps and get more information on EAA’s website here.

We look forward to seeing you in Oshkosh!

    Jet,

With Ford being the title sponsor for the show we have a gentleman's agreement to only bring Ford powered cars so we can't have the 818 in the booth, same goes for the GTM unfortunately.

Thanks Jim, I understand and appreciate that.
I’ll guess I get to see the GTM In Kentucky then...

Actually, since the shows are back to back weekends the rig is going from OshKosh directly to Louisville so the cars at both shows will be the same.

Quick question for Monday: how are the grounds? I know that Oshkosh got more than 5 inches of rain over the weekend, and I had heard all the grassy areas (including camping and parking) were saturated and closed! Have they opened up parking nearby? Still hoping to visit - if I can get in there!

Looks like some muddy spots in the campground, but the Airventure goes on. They usually throw gravel or wood chips to make these situations passable.

Tuesday was a great day in Oshkosh! Cars and airplanes - what could be better? The first stop was the FFR exhibit and I got to spend some time with the Factory Five crew. Then I got my fill of airplanes... Here are a few photos:
