    Body Buck length question

    Making my body buck, started cutting my first 2” x 4” and figured out its not 8’ long it’s 7’-8. I’ve never bought 2”x4”’s that weren’t 8’ long, these are from Home Depot.
    Question is, can I make the buck 7’-8” rather than 8’?

    You grabbed wall studs. They will be fine, the buck is to just keep the body off the floor, it doesn't need to be precision built.

    I agree 100%! Don't over think the buck, it's just a temporary storage device.

    The buck is center of wheelwell to center of wheelwell anyway which is 90"

    Well being the patient guy I am I added 4” to the middle, glued and screwed.
