    Hello and a newbie question.

Hello everyone. Every forum has an FNG and today it's me. Nice to meet you all. I am starting my research and financial planning for acquisition of an 818 in about 2 years. So through my couple of months stalking around reading, I was wondering if anyone has gone the VCP pallet route instead of disassembling a donor? Was it missing anything? What if any prep work did you have to do prior to installation?. Sorry if this has been asked before. Thanks in advance for your help.

I did not use a VCP palet but there isn't anyone better to work with than Wayne Presely, who is VCP.

I think it depends on your build plans. If you are going by the manual, the pallet is probably a pretty good plan. If you want lots of extras like AC, ABS, stock interior etc, it starts to fill up a 2nd or 3rd pallet and shipping adds up... pretty soon it might have been better to get a donor.
