    Question Looking for help

Looking for help to understand if a 2017 Mustang drive train will fit into the 65 Coupe. The setup I have is a 2017 Mustang 5.0 Coyote, Getrag MT-82 6-speed with an 8.8 IRS with 3.55 gears.
I have been told that the Getrag will fit but modifications must be made. (Fabricate or procure parts to adapt the shifter, trans mount, or driveshaft)

My question.... is this all that is required to fit this setup in the car? or is there more? Has anyone out there placed this configuration into a Daytona or Cobra?

Thanks in advance for any help and or feedback.

The short answer: It's only metal. If it physically fits in the tunnel, the rest can be made to work.
