Re-Registering a FF Cobra in MA

I just acquired a used FF Cobra which was originally build, registered and titled in MA. Car then moved to FL and was registered there.

Am I crazy to think that since it was once registered/titled in MA the process of getting a new title/registration/plates is as simple as a visit to the local RMV? The prior emissions exemptions will carry forward?

    Thanks in advance,
    Chris

If it was registered in Mass after 2012 and was exempt at that time is "should" still be exempt. you could stop by a motorist assistance center and the should be able to run the VIN and tell you if its exempt.
