    Very cute. Congrats.
I dont know a lot about Dashhunds. I thought they were all pretty small. Is a miniature actually a smaller breed? About how much will she weigh when full grown?

What a cute little pup! They are great dogs, a little vocal at times but very sweet.

We have one that's 14 years old. She's blind, hard of hearing, but as stubborn as ever. She's a whole 13 pounds and all muscle. They are awesome little dogs that will become your best friend in short order.

    Have fun.

    Scott,

Dachshunds come in two sizes, standard and miniature. A standard can weigh up to 30 lbs and miniatures are about half that size. Our last pet was also a miniature. He weighed about 12 lbs. He lived to almost 17 years old. Dachshunds are very affectionate and crave human contact. They were originally bred to go after badgers, and Dachshund is literally translated as badger dog.

Super cute! You should have installed that "cubby hole" Dave, she would have been right at home.

Ha! Right now she could fit in the glove box. She's a hefty 2-1/4 lbs.
