Looking for pics. The spindle angle looks like it is down.

The pin drive configuration aint pretty but here ya' go:

That has to create some wild camber changes and I hate to think about bump steer.

I agree we're going to have to call on monday and figure something out. It looks like we might be the Guinea pigs for pin drive width.

I am not sure you really need to go with pin drive on the Gen 3 coupe, it is wider than the roadster. Most of us using the standard FFR wheels are adding 1 to 1.25 inch spacers on the back and there is room for a spacer on the front. There is room on the Coupe to add pin drive without the suspension comprise of the short "A" arms and still have a dished wheel. You will have to work out the details with FFR. I don't know of anyone who has done this yet.

As I showed in the photo above it has been done...not by me...and after having seen the car and the geometry that results when doing this with a tall donor based spindle it isn't something that I would pursue but that's just my opinion.

Thanks for the info we built the roadster pin drive width and just added it to list on the coupe.

We got some 3" turnbuckle from factory five for the upper control arms. Then we cut 3/4" of each turnbuckle bolt plus 1 1/2" off of each of the steering rack ends.

Mk3 roadster picked up 4/07 titled 11/07 347 stroker t5z pin drive width independent rear.
Gen3 coupe picked up 7/19 347 stroker 3 link rear pin drive width knockoff wheels a/c heat.
