Steering Column Issue (Gen 2 Frame)
went to install the steering column. The top bracket went in a little snug, but the bolts slid right in.
Went to install the lower bracket in the top bolts on the frame and they do not line up with the slot in the column.
I'm debating whether it is better to clearance the slot on the column or drill the hole in the frame to fit.
Any advice?

Neither. It will massage in. Take the top bolts loose and wiggle. Get them all in and then tighten. There’s a ton of play in the system even though it feels snug.

Mine was snug too but if you put all the bolts in loosely they will go in.

I ended up oversizing one of the holes in the frame at the top of the column. I'm surprised how much I had to stretch the lower bracket , but it fit.
