    Titling in new jersey

Well I did this 15 years ago when I built my cobra, registered as a collectable so no inspection. I am in the process of building a 35 ff hotrod truck.
Has anyone done the titling process in NJ in the past couple of years and if so did you receive a new car inspection sticker? Now Nj does not allow kit cars to be registered as a collectable. So trying to figure out the process

Also Nj bases the emissions on the year of the block so a block dated 1969 has no emission controls which makes it very easy , has anyone done this recently . When I built my cobra back in 05 that what I did,
    Thanks Herb

    Hi Herb,

Welcome to the forum. I am a NJ based builder, have not gone through the process yet. These are the two best threads on passing NJ safety and emissions inspections I have found.
