    Hi all,
New to FF and this blog. I am looking to gain advice and hopefully help out others as I learn throughout this build. I had an 84 trans am that I sold in college and bought a 78. I still have the 78 ,but am looking for a project where I don’t have to do rust repair and that has greater speed potential. The type 65 seems to be the way to go. I am excited to get building.

Welcome, And congratulations I see you are already building. I had the same thought process with building new rather than rebuilding a rust bucket. I’ve been there done that several times. When I put the pencil to the paper and figured time and money involved building new was the way to go for me. I’m in the west suburbs of Chicago building a truck but have had to take some time off of it because of my busy season with work. Good luck and have fun with your build. Rob

Thank you. The truck looked very nice as well. A nice addition to the offerings at FF. I considered the roadster hard top and the truck myself. I went with the type 65 so it could fit above my firebird on my 4 post. Todd
