    LS install problem

    Getting ready to drop engine and trans in the car. Seems that the motor mount bolt that goes through the plate into the motor mount hits the webbing of the engine block. Is that a problem others have seen?

    Grind block or bolt? My inclination is to grind the bolt as it’s the cheapest part.

    Didn't have that problem on the 6.2. Are you using the motor mounts that came with the FF5 kit?
    Those 4 triangle plates aren't symmetrical, if you flip one plate over to compare it to the other plate the bolt holes are slightly off.

    Apparently it’s a casting difference in the blocks. Grinder fixes all surprises.
