    Last second LS Sanity Check

I need to match the remaining wires from the chassis harness to the Ls harness.

Check engine is a light that picks up 12v from the car and ground through the LS harness?. Speedo should be the signal to the speedometer, repacking the dash harness Speedo sender? 12v should be connected to crank/coil?

On the car harness I have 2 Speedo sensors that aren't used. Coil to tach that isn't used. And then coil crank to efi, right? Just one wire to go bang??

Your 6.0 ECU may be different than my 6.2 ECU, plus you have a manual and I have an auto. Not sure all of this will pertain to your setup.
There isn't much that gets connected together between the FF chassis harness and the LS harness.
My CEL/MIL LED is in the GM fuse box with a wire that can connect to an external LED, the wire provides a ground for a low power lamp/LED.

My tranny ECU has its own connector for the speedo, I didn't use the one in the FF harness.
I didn't need to use the FF coil to tach wire, I used the tach wire from my ECU.
I used the FF coil/EFI org wire to send 12 volts to the GM ECU pink wire, without this the engine won't start.
    Tan electric choke not used.

Thanks. I’m being irrationally cautious. But one wire to fire seems silly....

My ECU has a direct connection to the battery thru the GM fuse box, this keeps the memory.
The one pink wire just wakes up the ECU when you turn the key.

Looking at your wire label pics I guess the engine harness wasn't from GM.

No. Full custom. Allowed me to hide almost the entire harness in the valley. Very little exposed wiring.

Nice that you can hide a lot of it.
Where did you get the coil covers from?

They’re from Eddie Motorsports. Relatively speaking they weren’t expensive.
