Rear Cockpit Panel - Harness Hole Interference

My rear aluminum panel doesn’t seem to be fitting right. I have it mocked up and the harness holes are sitting at the same level as the rear crossmember. I would have thought that the harness holes should fit above the rear cross member?

Any thoughts on how to correct it?

    Thanks

pics would be great, but if i understand you . . . most people have said that you should have the crossbar cover a little bit of the bottom of the hole so that the straps dont chaf and get cut on the hole, they rub the crossbar instead. i think the pics i saw were like 1/16" or so of the crossbar shown at the bottom of the hole

ChasNMe is right. the cross bar will block about half the harness hole.

Mike did not mention it but he makes nice finishers for the belt openings
