CobraHeat Seat heaters switch hole size

    Hi Guys,

I'm planning on buying the Cobraheat seat heaters for my car...Click Here. I am currently trying to figure out my under dash switch layout. The seat heater switches will be among them. Can any of you tell me the size of hole needed for the switches so that I can make sure there's enough room for it in the layout.

    Thanks,

    Frank

In this picture of my test dash, it says 13/16". Sorry I'm not home to check the size but it is a nice snug fit with the locking locking tabs.

I agree with Vspeeds, they are larger than standard toggles. I think I drilled to either 18mm or 20mm per the instructions.

One thing you might want to consider is using one type of switch instead of what just comes with each different thing. It makes for a cleaner installation. I used small round rockers for everything on my under dash panel, so nothing is sticking down. All the same style so they look the same. There are on/off, momentary contact, and three position (seat heaters) depending on the function.
