    My 818S-1/2C

IMG_4062.jpgIMG_4715.JPGIMG_4065.jpgSince I purchased this car back in August and only got to drive it for a few months of good weather I made it a mission to make it an all weather ride, so all winter I've put an average of 8hrs a day to make it happen and some other personal mods....just because.
Rear duck tail, side runners that follow the body lines, out the center exhaust, Hella fog lights and a removable top
Don't mind the wrinkles you see, that's a cotton table cloth I used to define the lines, got tired of looking at the honeycomb wrapped with Kevlar shell that sits underneath
And yes that's the lower rear louver that I asked Zero Decibel to make for me...

Ok...back to the garage and start on the windows

Very nice. Love to see what you did for the attachment points, especially at the windshield .

This is almost exactly what I’ve been considering; would love to see a side profile picture with the top up, and details on how it attaches.

It's been more then a month since I posted about this crazy idea and I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I tested it last week with a 300 mile ride over to Ohio and it did what it was built for even though it was cold.
I will eventually write about all the sweat and tears I went through while getting this thing done and when the windows are done, for now a few pics for your consideration.....asbestos suit on...

Please provide details on your third brake light on the back of roll bar. Also how did you attach top to the windshield?
    Thanks

    The third light is a 15" Tecniq 110... about $14 (Amazon)...super bright
Aluminum extension was made and attached to the windshield to receive 4002 series camlocks studs
