Changing Fuel Sender and Pump Connectors

In my rear wiring harness, the connectors for the fuel sender and the fuel pump are reversed, and therefore don't mate with the connectors on the tank. Red should be on the pump circuit and gray on the sender circuit. Is there a way to depin these connectors like a weatherpack so I can switch them, or am I stuck cutting them off and re-connecting them on the right wires?

You should be able to release the pins, to do the switch. Just have to figure out which tool you need for the job, as there are several types available, which cover the majority of automotive electrical connectors. Yours almost look like they are made by weatherpack..?

I didn't think there was a difference in those plugs other than color.

They are different, the alignment tangs are in different locations.
