Kirkey Pro Drag Seat Transformation (Let me know what you think)

    So Cal Guys
As I look forward to the track days ahead I knew something safer was required other than the stock seat so here is what I came up with. I took a Kirkey Pro Drag seat and transformed it into a racer that rides higher in the back and has a removable headrest for the track. Told my upolstry guy I wanted it to have some of the Porsche GT3 seat DNA in the design. This is what he delivered on Friday for just under $1000 including the seat and the construction of the removable headrest.

Tell me what you guys think as the design is a bit outside of the vintage Cobra look??

Nice job, the only concern is will it pass "Tech". It looks like the headrest just slides into the seat, I don't know if that will be a item that they will take issue with.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Slides into a housing in the back that then has two bolts securing it into place...will attach picture when I get off the iPad..hopefully that will pass tech on any course...
