Gathering last weekend in Santa Cruz
Taking advantage of another perfect weather weekend, I took a drive over the hill to Santa Cruz (and then some), for what was the first "cars and coffee" type gathering for me. It was a great mix of people and cars, that brought back lots of memories and many a story. Not a show, as much as a bunch of enthusiasts getting together, but not so hardcore that more than one 914 owner was asking how the EZ30 would fit in his car... Lots of interest in the 818, of course nobody knew what it was- even the guy with an FFR Cobra!

That's soooo cool....glad you got to talk shop with the crowd and let them know what this dream cars are all about.
Did a coffee with cops a couple of weeks back to support the falling LEO's over at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the people were clueless of what an 818 was so much so that they gave me an award for the "best import".... go figure...
