    Unfinished MK4 Roadster in Texas

    SOLD

I'm pushing that project way to long and can't get to it.

    For sale:
Complete MK4 kit, vintage instruments upgrade, wilwood on all 4 corners, comes with a 460/501 close to 610hp new crate engine($12500), TKO 600 transmission with steel bell and mcloed hydraulic clutch new (Mike Forty $4500). I provide all invoices.
American 17 inch wheels on Nitto's and a set of 17" black powder coated F5R halibrand style rims.
Motor is still on the shipping crate and the TKO/Bell housing/Clutch are still in boxes.
It is a roller, so transport is not a problem. I used the roll bar and the dash for a different project other than that all parts are boxed.
I'm looking for $30k. Please don't try to low ball me and waste your and my time.

    Pete

    Thanks

    Pete,

Why don't you simply reach out to one of the Professional Builders to complete the car for you?
My project dragged along on more than a few occasions so I totally understand life getting in the way.
Here are some very super reputable guys who know these cars like the backs of their hands:

    1. Jeff Kleiner
    2. Henry Renard (65 Cobra Dude)
    ....https://youtu.be/sUAnYcvbxyE
    3. Mike Everson
    4. Wayne Presley
    5. Mark Dougherty (The Traveling Builder)

Jeff is likely booked up painting cars, but you might be able to get your machine over to Henry, Mike, Wayne or Mark.
These guys helped with tons of advice to get Redbone completed in spite of being Dark Side Dart Powered!
Mark will even come to you since he is of course, The Traveling Builder!

    I'm a builder myself - I have a '41 truck, two Mustangs, a bike and eventual a Cobra in front of it...booked pretty much 2021 into 2022.
Oh, my wife wants to remodel the kitchen too.
    I just finished these two...

Sorry, I was under the impression that you didn't have the time or possibly didn't have the skills.

Just hated the idea that you might be giving up on a dream.

    Good Luck With The Kitchen!

I bought mine in a very similar state but with a "tiny" 427 compared to this beast. Price is spot on, solid deal.
    MK IV Roadster #7999
Ford Racing 427x; QF 670 Carb; TKO 600; 3.31 Rear End; 3-link; 17” Halibrand Replicas (9” front, 10.5” rear), Khumo Ecstas (245 front, 315 rear), EPAS Power Steering; Power Brakes; 8/1/19 - Legal in gelcoat!; 12/1/20 - Paint & bodywork in progress! Silver, no black, no red, wait now silver....

Congratulations Pete. I was tempted but have a Coupe and a Roadster and couldn’t justify!
