What are the measurements to cut the spacer tube to move engine back to clear steering rack.

Depends on your drive set-up. Run a single v-belt drive and a short water pump and no need to move the engine to the rear. Try to run a roots blower drive and you'll likely be modifying the firewall to make room for a serious engine setback. Anything in between those two extreme examples and I suggest you do the measurements yourself and not rely on what someone else has unless they have the exact same set-up. And don't forget that moving the engine changes the driveshaft length required.

I moved mine a bit over an inch and I can fit a long water pump lower single v-belt pulley and still have clearance between the rack and have sufficient clearance from the back of the engine to the firewall. But I measured the space available and the space my engine set-up needed to determine the engine setback for my specific combination. Your mileage may vary.

Thanks Naz. Installed motor and trans today. Looks like all worked out other than I was shipped the wrong trans mount.

I did the same as Naz. 1". Worked perfect. I live in Fort Worth. If you are in the DFW area, stop by and I'll show you my build. I have it running on stands. Have not driven it yet.
