    Another Exhaust cutout Question

I’m in the process of prepping the body to get it to a painter. I was pretty happy with the exhaust cutouts and drove the car for awhile without thinking about changing it. When I decided to start the body work I took the body off the car so dust would not be an issue getting into the interior or engine compartment
    .
To remove the body, I had to take the exhaust off as there wasn’t enough clearance when lifting the body near the exhaust cutouts. I started thinking that I’ve had the body on and off at least 4 times and each time I had to remove and re attach the exhaust pipes.

Do I have my exhaust cutouts too tight? Does anybody not have this issue? If I widen the cutouts will the body lift off with the exhaust on?

You’re all good. Pipes have to come off to remove or install body. Body has to move forward to come off. Taking front wheels off helps a ton too.
