Any FFR builders or owners in the Naples area?

Hello all - I’m new to the forum but have always been a fan and always wanted to build a roadster. I have recently moved to Southwest Florida and now I need to give up my racing habit and focus that on something like building a roadster or a 65 coupe. Would like to sit in one first to get the feel and see how I fit in one. I’m a bigger guy. 6’3” 240lbs. I know that the foot box modifications can increase the room, but just would rather see and try in person before pulling the trigger.

    Thanks!

    Shaun,

Welcome to the forum! I’m a bit North of you in Port Charlotte but you are welcome to stop by. I currently have a Gen III Coupe, a roadster and a Gen II 33 in my garage. Next week, they’ll be a Gen II coupe here as well. PM me if interested.

    Henry and Shaun,

I am in NW Cape Coral. I went down to Naples area today and looked at the Superperformace Cobra at Gulf Coast Motorworks. Beautiful car and it should be. I am headed to FFR build school in January. I would really like to see your roadster. I have placed my order about 15 times and rethought a few things. And it would be great to meet a fellow FFR owner!

Welcome Mike! SP makes a great car and it really comes down to buying a car that is built or building your own. Some don't have the time, talent or tools to build their own but I can tell you it is very rewarding. If you don't have one of the T's (time, talent, tools), SP is a viable option. You could also look into somebody building a FFR for you. There are a few great builders out there. PM me if you would like to come by? Shaun and I are trying to schedule a good time for him to stop by!

    Thx,

    Henry

    Mike,

I've been fortunate enough to meet Henry and have dinner with him too.
This is just one example of his abilities:

You are lucky to live so close should you find that you don't have the time to build one yourself.
Henry is the real deal, a true patriot that just happens to knows these cars like the back of his hand.

I live in Cape Coral as well. I am currently in the process of planning out a 35 truck build. I am hoping to order my kit in the next coming month.
