coyote gen 3 pcm bracket
I just received the new bracket for the coyote gen 3 pcm computer module. The Metal piece for mounting the pcm is similar to the old one but only has 2 mounting holes for the computer module. Is that the only mounting points? Also they sent a heavier piece that is in the shape of an L-bracket. not sure what that is for. directions and pics would have been nice.
please advise

Can't help you with whatever FF is providing for mounting. Didn't exist when I installed my Gen 3 Coyote some months ago. Plus mine is in a Coupe. But I can confirm the Bosch PCM Ford uses with the Gen 3 Coyote (previous Gen 1 and Gen 2 Coyote PCM's were from Continental) has only two mounting points. I mounted mine with a square pad of 1/8-inch neoprene between the PCM and the two mounting locations and tightened the bolts enough to lock it down but not crush the neoprene. It's solid with just a bit of cushioning and seems to work fine. Good luck with yours.
